TRIUS

Trius has been playing together as a trio for a number of years.   Dave Hagedorn, vibes, retired from directing the jazz program at St. Olaf College in 2020, after leading it for 23 years.  He has performed and/or recorded with the George Russell Living Time Orchestra (nominated for a Grammy in 1985), as well as Miguel Espinoza Fusion, Pete Whitman’s Xtet and the Chris Bates Good Vibes Trio.   Kevin Clements, bass, grew up in Kansas City, and after college, performed with artists such as Marilyn Maye and Billy Eckstine.  Reid Kennedy, drums, grew up in Winona, and after graduating from the University of Minnesota has had his original music featured on the Fox, Showtime, Starz and the Learning Channel networks.
