Nick Bhalla: Big Blue Moon

Big Blue Moon is a modern jazz piano trio from south Minneapolis. The group programs a setlist of Nick’s originals, jazz standards, and improvisational arrangements & interpretations of favorite tunes from the 60s and 70s including Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Nick Drake. In a split second, this trio can turn from beautifully arranged sections into free-form group improvisation. This show will also feature Nick’s solo piano and will include some special guests as well.
